Eilish’s Approach to Collaboration
Billie and her brother/producer Finneas work exclusively in their studio, even for team-ups. “I prefer working alone and then sending ideas back and forth,” Billie told Complex. “Even with artists I deeply admire, I’d say, ‘You go home, I’ll do my part, and we’ll share.’”
Guess Remix: A Quick Hit
The remix came together in under a week, including a music video shoot, and quickly topped the charts in the U.K. and Australia in August. The collaboration earned a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
How It Started
Charli suggested the collaboration backstage at a concert, and Billie instantly gravitated to Guess. “It was my favorite song from the extended album,” she said.
